Trusts and Foundations Manager role
Open Up Music is an award-winning Bristol-based charity, with a mission to open up music to young disabled musicians. We deliver ambitious, national programmes to raise standards in music education for young disabled people.
This role is a member of the Senior Management Team, and will be responsible for developing and implementing the trusts and foundations strategy. This is a key role focusing on prospecting, writing and submitting funding applications and reports against income targets. This role will also be responsible for managing and stewarding relationships to ensure the highest possible retention of, and return from, funders. You will also work with us to recruit and line manage a Trusts and Foundations Officer, to support you to deliver against our annual grant giving targets.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in trusts and foundations strategy and fundraising, with experience of meeting financial targets. You will be able to prioritise a busy workload, with excellent attention to detail.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

To eliminate the risk of unconscious bias, we will shortlist applications based on the Application questions only and won’t look at your Application form until we have decided whether to offer you an interview.
We actively welcome applications from people with a disability, long term medical condition, or who identify as neurodivergent (such as Autism or ADHD). We are a Disability Confident Employer and offer a Guaranteed Interview Scheme for disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 12th August. We will conduct interviews in line with social distancing guidance at our office in Bristol. We are also happy to conduct remote interviews using Google Meet if travelling into our office is not possible for shortlisted candidates.
